Brownie cake for the birthday girls!
We celebrated Lucy and Caroline’s birthday with an “American Girl” doll theme, complete with 15 friends! All the invitees brought their dolls, served tiny doll-size food, made mini doll-size magazines, painted doll-size plates and thermoses, played games, and watched “Molly McIntyre: An American Girl Movie.” We can’t believe our little 5 pound babies are 7 years old!!

This is the ‘mini’ food the girls served their dolls. We found little gummy pizzas, and chips that looked like itty bitty french fries.
Their friend Sophia giving her doll her birthday lunch.
Maria, Carly, Grace, Esme and Fiona painting and making lots of doll-size things.

Lucy eating the requested “shish tawook” from their one of their favorite nearby restaurants, “The Chandelier.”
We also ordered pizza for those who didn’t want to eat the local cuisine.
Caroline and Grace (one of the twins who went to Africa with us – Carly is her twin sister.) All the girls at the party got those purple headbands (and mini ones for their dolls to match). My tailor in our building downstairs made those for them 🙂
